Jill Nicolini (born 1978) is a native of Long Island, New York. The model, actress and reality TV show participant joined WPIX-TV as a traffic reporter for the WB11 Morning News in April 2004 (now called the CW11 Morning News as of September 18, 2006).

Before becoming the WB11’s morning traffic reporter, Nicolini made her living as a model. She tried out unsuccessfully to become the official live action model for Vampirella in 2001. She had big parts in four feature films and six TV shows, including HBO’s Sex and the City and NBC’s Law & Order.

Natalie Portman has been named the most eco-friendly star, after topping a list of celebrities who go out of their way to care for the planet.

The Hollywood beauty won a special mention by campaigners at green website Grist.org - who praised her work to save gorillas in Rwanda, her role as the face of a low-energy lightbulb company and the launch of her vegan shoe range.

Other stars to be honoured by the planet-friendly firm include Leonardo DiCaprio, Cameron Diaz, Julia Roberts and Brad Pitt.

However, organisers singled out a handful of A-listers as particularly non-environmentally friendly.

The worst offenders were named as David Beckham, for the amount of flights he takes annually; British model Elizabeth Hurley, for flying 250 guests to her 2007 wedding in India, and the Spice Girls, for their use of private jets.

Miley Cyrus, the 15-year-old star of “Hannah Montana,” said she is “embarrassed” by a provocative photo spread shot by famed photographer Annie Liebovitz that is appearing in the upcoming issue of Vanity Fair.

“I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed,” she said in a statement released today. “I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about.”

Jennifer Lopez is no stranger to reality television: She’s made cameos on Fox’s “American Idol” and MTV’s “DanceLife,” which she produced, about six aspiring dancers struggling to make it.

But this time, the full attention will be on J.Lo.

Lopez has signed on to star in an unscripted series for TLC following the stylish actress-singer-dancer-businesswoman as she juggles her career with mommy duty.

Lopez, 39, who has three fashion lines, is also an executive producer on the TLC program, which will show the star launching a new fragrance to add to her collection of namesake perfumes.

“Jennifer is unbelievably passionate about life and will be an incredible role model for our audience,” TLC President Angela Shapiro-Mathes said.

Mandie Brady filed for divorce last year, and she legally separated from Wayne in April 2006. Christina Silva filed a lawsuit against the Miss California pageant director/other responsible bodies and she sought a sum of $500,000 for public humiliation, mental stress, lost opportunities, lost prizes and lost monies.

Christina Silva was originally crowned Miss California 2008 last Nov. 25, 2007. Three days after that, the pageant director told her that there was a mistake and they confisicated her crown. The accounting department made a mistake with the names and another contestant, Raquel Beezley, was the real winner.

Christina claimed that the pageant director hated her for her Ecuadoran and Mexican roots. However, she seemed to forget that Raquel Beezley is a quarter Filipino and mixed descent too.

The Miss USA pageant will air on Friday night on NBC.

Since Wednesday, the blogosphere has been atwitter over a photograph on the White House Web site of Cheney with a caption that said he was fly-fishing on the Snake River in Idaho.
The photo is a tight shot of Cheney’s face sporting dark sunglasses and his trademark grin.

What’s stirring all the buzz is the reflection in the vice president’s dark glasses. Some thought that the reflection looked like a naked woman and, this being Cheney and this being the Internet Age, they immediately shared that thought with the world.

In a Google search for the words “Dick Cheney” and “sunglasses,” 79,300 hits came back at mid-afternoon on Thursday. By 7 p.m., the count was 130,000.

Annie Lennox has long been an altruistic and socially-conscious artist, and tonight she joined the cast of American Idol to inspire television viewers to give back. Annie’s particular cause is the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

Last year, the Idol Gives Back campaign raised $75 million for charitable organizations. This year the success of the viewer donations was based in large part on the performance by Annie Lennox.

Lennox performed on American Idol to raise money for her SING campaign, which raises awareness of the impact of HIV/AIDS on women and children in South Africa. Of the region’s crisis, she said,

“My wake-up call was when Nelson Mandela personally used the word ‘genocide’ to describe what is actually taking place in South Africa. And the governments there have held a denialist stance for the last 10 years, with the health minister making claims that medication is more toxic than the virus itself. It’s very confusing and disturbing.”

In South Africa, one in three mothers-to-be are estimated to be infected with the AIDS virus. Annie’s goal is to help implement a nationwide prevention program to stop the transmission of AIDS from mother to child during birth.

Annie’s most recent album is entitled Songs of Mass Destruction. On it, she wrote the song “Sing”, for which she recruited 23 female musicians. The divas included Madonna, Celine Dion, Shakira, Gladys Knight, and KT Tunstall.

Miss Missouri US 2008 Candice Crawford said her brother, ‘Gossip Girl’ star Chace Crawford, is doing “OK” after his split from American Idol champ Carrie Underwood.

Though she also tells Chace is upset with the split.

“He’s doing okay through this whole ordeal. He was upset about the breakup. It’s always hard when you lose a relationship,” Candice told People magazine.

But despite the break-up; and having to endure online speculation about his sexuality, the actor won’t be moping around for long.

After weeks of tasks, bickering between Piers and Omarosa, “You’re fired!” and money raised for charity, Donald Trump finally said the words “You’re hired!” (figuratively) to one of the two final contestants: America’s Got Talent judge Piers Morgan and country singer Trace Adkins. Since I know some of you haven’t watched the finale yet, I’ll name who was crowned winner of the first edition of NBC’s The Celebrity Apprentice after the jump. I can confirm though that it’s a man!

It wasn’t an easy choice. In one corner, you had the player who followed the show’s motto: “It’s nothing personal. It’s just business.” In the other corner, you had the quiet cowboy who played a clean game but who didn’t do as well fundraising-wise. I have to agree with Piers, this is a business competition and he won it hands down if we follow that line of thought. But his lack of bedside manners, as Ivanka put it in the live finale, rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. As for Trace, he gave his all during the series and worked well with everyone.
In a poll we opened a few days ago, over 60% of the voters thought that Trace should have won. Even if at that time I wasn’t 100% sure who I wanted to win, I’ve been rooting for Piers from the start. Yes, he is abrasive and should learn that sometimes it’s best to stay silent. But he is the person who played the game the best.

Trump, remembering that his reality show is about business, crowned Piers Morgan as the first celebrity apprentice. Since the winner didn’t get a job at the end, The Donald didn’t say the words “You’re hired.” Some people may question Trump’s ethics because he picked a player who played a rather ugly game. But then again, other people would have complained if Trump had “hired” Trace, saying that the singer didn’t raise as much money and that Piers not only brought in the most money, but also many celebrities and won the most challenges. A lot of people, me included, were doubtful about a celebrity version of the show. But now that I’ve seen the entire season, I must admit that I was entertained. If it weren’t for contestants like Piers Morgan, Stephen Baldwin, and Trace Adkins, the series wouldn’t have been as fun to watch. It was definitely my guilty pleasure during strike time. The celebrity edition of the reality show will return sometime next year with a second crop of celebrities.

The pictures, believed to be around 5 years old, were allegedly taken by an ex-boyfriend and are now being shopped by a California broker. Kristin’s rep denies that the pictures are of her and insists that there is no sex tape.

Many people wonder why if these photos are, in fact, of Davis are they just being shopped now. “Sex and the City” has been off the air for 5 years and Davis’ career has focused on mainly family friendly fare such as starring in Disney’s remake of “The Shaggy Dog” and the holiday movie “Deck the Halls.” However, with Davis scheduled to star in the “Sex and the City” movie this May, there is bound to be some buzz.

Davis is not the first star to have to deal with the rumor of private pictures becoming public, whether they’re true or not. Early this Fall, Disney Teen Queen Vanessa Hudgens first denied and than admitted that the steamy photos making the Internet rounds were of her and had been sent to a boyfriend. Pam Anderson and Tommy Lee had a their private honeymoon video stolen from their home and it quickly made a huge stir on the Internet. These tapes can prove embarrassing for the celebrities and often put their career in jeopardy. There were serious doubts if Hudgens would be asked back by Disney for the third installment of the wildly popular “High School Musical” Series. However, in the end Disney decided to stand behind their star.

Some celebrities have, however, enjoyed a major fame boost as the result of a well-placed sex tape. Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian were relatively unknown until they both had sex tapes made with former boyfriends make the rounds. The results were lucrative reality TV deals, movie offers, and a fast track in to the Hollywood elite.

Kellie Pickler and Clint Black are primed for prime time. Each of them has a major role on the schedule in one of network television’s talent competitions, but in a slightly ironic reversal, the newcomer will be featured on a well-established show while the veteran singer appears in a brand new title.

Kellie’s part of the lineup tonight on the FOX-TV mainstay “American Idol,” where she was a contestant in 2006. She’s slated to sing “Red High Heels” at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.

“It’s kind of like a homecoming,” Kellie says, “and I’m so excited to see everybody and see the new stage and set.”

“New” is the operative word for Clint’s show. He’s one of 16 celebrities tabbed for the CBS offering “Secret Talents Of The Stars,” which debuts April 8. Each of the participants explores an entertainment specialty that is not part of their public persona. Clint, for example, will tackle stand-up comedy.

“Star Trek” actor George Takei will try his hand as a country singer, “Cosby Show” grad Malcolm-Jamal Warner will play bass guitar with a hip-hop band, actor Danny Bonaduce will ride a unicycle with the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus crew, and boxer Joe Frazier will take the stage as a singer.

Viewers will vote to determine the winners as the show progresses over a seven-week period, ending May 22.
